jeff, don’t apologize for not getting back to the emails. at this point, you’re schedule is probably very packed and busy, so reply them if you have time, but don’t feel obligated.
best of luck with your examinations.

Useless video.

I watch your videos for the intriguing bits of information that you find from medical school experiences but I believe the true value of your videos (for undergrads like myself) are the personal opinions and realizations. A firsthand perspective is invaluable. Thanks for sharing.

good video. there are two kinds of people: those who care and those who don’t. you just re-selected your team.
with our mind on human-created machinations we forget quickly and easily that humans are such social animals. being around a different group will change you. we are who we are with.

across multiple disciplines, not just medical, prevention of problems is proven to be more effective and less costly than cure. If we were as smart as we think we are, we’d be spending more time and money on prevention. That includes doctors who are trained to be experts not in prevention.

the impetus is on the ama and hospital and pharmaceuticals, they will never do something that will remove a revenue stream. It is myopic because they don’t understand that they could be investing in future technology which could open up new revenue streams.
The medical industry itself shoots its own self in the foot, by murdering people’s careers, refusing to even look at curative advances and studies. They refuse to even look at something that purports to cure cancer.

It’s easy to be seen as a cog in the machine with the masses, but that’s what makes exceptional people like those acclaimed doctors who they are: they have risen above the das-Man (“the They”–the group) mentality to emerge as a unique and powerful individual. Powerful people do not let their occupation or their peers within the organization define them; they define their role and purpose. You may meet some resistance, but such is the nature of noble pursuits. Thanks for your insight on this.

FIRST COMMENT FTW! lol. Im a big fan of you, and i always wanted to ask you how hard was it to get into medical school? How were your grades in highschool and college and how was the MCAT? Also, do you still think that going through all of those things to be a doctor was worth it? Thanks for taking your time to look at this comment and maybe even answering it.
